CFB members will be heading to this annual convention, which is the largest gathering of blind people in the world. Up to 3000 blind people take part in this empowering and educational event. When: Sunday, July 3-Friday, July 8, 2011 Where: Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, Orlando, Florida  

CFB monthly meetings are held the second Saturday of each month at 10:45 AM at the Traveller’s Inn City Centre, 1961 Douglas St, Victoria. Locals are encouraged to attend for camaraderie and fun. People elsewhere in the province or the country can join by conference call. Please contact us for details.  

The CFB has held four successful blind youth mentoring conference calls on employment, independent travel, Braille and the Federation. The conference calls consist of a round table discussion where people ask questions and offer their personal experiences.
